Friesian/Arabian - He finally arrived. His birth was much anticipated and he is exactly what was expected and more. His dam is my SE AK Arabian mare, HF Macarena. "Mikey" is a gorgeous, typey Arabian and yet she is no hothouse flower. She has the lines of many Bedouin tribes and is "Asil" (pure). She is 14.2 hands, athletic and has a good mind as well as body.
This colt's sire is the Frieisan stallion, Hertog Jan vd Paddensteeg. Jan is a 1st Premium son of Brandus 345 and was imported from the Netherlands in 2004, he is registered FPS, AFA and the FSHR. Jan is 16.2 hands and has abundant hair and fluid, correct movement. He's currently in training and being shown by his co-owners in Oklahoma. In his first show, The Mid States UDSF Breeder's Series show in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Jan claimed Reserve Regional Champion for stallions 4 In-Hand.
This colt has the potential for a great show career. He is offered at $3500 until he's weaned and has been inspected at which time the price will increase substantially.
