1" martingale English bridle leather dog collar with solid brass hardware. The martingale dog collar is constructed with two loops - one around the dogs neck and one connecting two dee rings on the main collar. The collar is to be fastened so that it is comfortable for the dog. When the leash is fastened to the dee ring on the small loop pressure will be applied to the dog's neck when it pulls or tries to escape the collar. It can be a great training tool as it is more corrective than a plain collar but not as harsh as a choke chain or other types of control collar. The 1" leather offers a wider area of pressure than a narrower collar making it less likely to damage the dog's neck.

Sizing: To get the proper dog collar size, measure the dog's neck and add 2 inches. That size will fit in the middle hole. So if your dog's neck measures 14" you would buy the Size 16" collar. Dog Collars have 5 holes.

Personalized ID Tag (optional): Add a brass hang down dog collar name tag. Name tag is solid satin brass and includes up to 3 lines of engraving. Max 15 characters per line. Second and third lines of text are a little smaller than first line. Mounts with a S hook or small split ring (included with name tag). Choose your font and enter your engraving information above. * Font Information: We will engrave your text EXACTLY how you type it in on your order. So if you use upper and lower case letters that is how it will be engraved. If you use all CAPITAL letters that is how it will be engraved. Except for cursive, tango, edwardian script and script as they are only available in Upper and Lower case. So no matter how you type those fonts they will be engraved in upper and lower case. If you want capital letters on one line and lower case on the other just type in your text exactly how you want it and that is how it be engraved. Again we engrave EXACTLY how you type it in! To clean Tory Leather products you can use conditioners and cleaners and won't need to oil them to keep them soft.
