This leather horse lead is made by Walsh Harness Company. The leather lead is made from English bridle leather. The edges on this lead are hand rubbed and feature solid brass hardware. The leather lead shank measures 6' by 1". MADE IN THE USA

"Again who can beat Walsh, love these leather lead shanks. I use them with all of my racehorses and keep a few at the barn as well. When there is a bunch of us bringing in horses we all fight over the leather leads! They are so durable! They just last forever! Unless of course you are not paying attention and your horse eats it! So I guess I should say with normal use they last forever. The bridle leather is so soft and supple it makes the lead comfortable to hang on to. Even when your horse is dancing and playing at the other end! No rope burns with these leather leads. It is great that they offer a leather lead that does not have a chain.
