Edgewood Double End Elastic Leather and Sheepskin Horse Girth - Fancy Stitched

Fancy stitched leather and sheepskin Edgewood horse girth. Both ends of this girth have elastic. For added comfort and style this girth comes with your choice of either a sewn on sheepskin or removable sheepskin. The sheepskin is a 3/4" pile that is soft, plush and pure-white. The removable sheepskin is held to the girth with heavy-duty, 3" wide Velcro®. Replacements sheepskin is available for the removable sheepskin girths.

Edgewood offers the finest handcrafted girth on the market today. The top of each girth is manufactured from the same quality cowhide as Edgewood's strapwork.

The interior of Edgewood's girth is constructed from thick, 7/16" felt laid over a length of nylon webbing which is sewn-in to prevent stretching. Sewing the nylon webbing in place adds additional strength to the girth.  A nylon-reinforcing strap is sewn into each buckle strap to prevent buckles from tearing.

The inside felt and reinforcing webbing is then covered with an overlay of the highest quality top grain leather and sewn into place with heavy-gauge thread.
