Shearling Lined Martingale Collar | Martingale Dog Collar
Bridle leather is a wonderful leather used in the equestrian trade. Aburn uses it for ther shearling lined martingale dog collars because of its strength, durability, comfort, and beauty. Auburn Leathercrafters’ shearling lined martingale dog collars are popular with owners of Greyhounds, Whippets, Afghans, Dobermans and similar breeds because they lessen the pressure of the collar on the dog’s trachea. Shearling lined leather martingale dog collars are appropriate for training but are equally useful as an easy on / easy off collar for everyday use. MARTINGALE COLLAR SIZE GUIDE
Measure carefully as these collars are sized differently than standard collars with buckles.
When measuring Martingale Round/Rolled Collars and Martingale Shearling Lined Collars, keep in mind the collar needs to slip over your dog's head as there is no buckle.
First, measure from the top of your dog's head down under the chin and back to the top of the dog's head. Next, measure your dog's neck as you would for a standard, buckle-style collar. Use the larger of the measurements to select a collar that fits between the ranges listed.

Other things to consider: Remember that puppies grow quickly, so it is important to check the tightness of your dog collars. Inspect and replace a collar or a leash as soon as it shows signs of wear that threatens the integrity of the collar/leash.
