The Auburn Leathercrafters’ Town Collar is simply a classic style of dog collar that remains popular year after year. The town collar is made with quality top grain bridle leather with beveled and hand finished edges for comfort. Assembled with solid hardware, smooth capped rivets, all with a bright nickel finish. A simple and practical dog collar that still makes a statement.

Optional: Add a brass or nickel silver dog collar nameplate. Nameplate is 2 1/2" x 3/8" solid satin brass or stain nickel silver nameplate includes up to 2 lines of engraving. Max 17 characters per line. Mounts with 2 custom Chicago screws (2 screws included with nameplate). Choose your font and enter your engraving information above. Engraved Nameplate comes with either a round end or ornamental end. Plate is thin enough to allow you to bend the plate to the curve of your dogs neck.

Nameplate Installtion: We are happy to install the nameplate on the collar for you. If you choose this option the collar cannot be returned or exchanged so please make sure to double the size of your dogs neck. If you choose to not have the nameplate installed it will come with easy to follow installation instructions.

* Font Information: We will engrave your text EXACTLY how you type it in on your order. So if you use upper and lower case letters that is how it will be engraved. If you use all CAPITAL letters that is how it will be engraved. Except for cursive, tango, edwardian script and script as they are only available in Upper and Lower case. So no matter how you type those fonts they will be engraved in upper and lower case. If you want capital letters on one line and lower case on the other just type in your text exactly how you want it and that is how it be engraved. Again we engrave EXACTLY how you type it in!

Sizing: Even though you can expect some degree of adjustability with your new dog collar, it is important to measure your dog carefully. The measurements are from the center bar of the buckle to the farthest hole and that you will be able to adjust the collars down from there.

If you are satisfied with the fit of your dog's current collar, measure that collar from the center bar of the buckle to the farthest hole. Our collars are sized from the center bar of the buckle to the farthest hole (See diagram above).

If this is your dog's first collar or you need a collar in a different size, measure around the dog's neck just as you would like the new collar to fit. The collar shouldn't be so tight that it will cause discomfort or loose enough to slide over the dog's head.

Other things to consider: Remember that puppies grow quickly, so it is important to check the tightness of your dog collars. Inspect and replace a collar or a leash as soon as it shows signs of wear that threatens the integrity of the collar/leash.
