Auburn Leathercrafters traditional Madison collars are now offered in an unlined version, the Minnie Maddie Collar, making it more supple, especially comfortable for the smaller dog. Full grain bridle leather adorned with genuine Swarovski crystals. Unlined. Beveled and hand polished edges.

Sizing: Even though you can expect some degree of adjustability with your new dog collar, it is important to measure your dog carefully.

If you are satisfied with the fit of your dog's current collar, measure that collar from the center bar of the buckle to the farthest hole. Our collars are sized from the center bar of the buckle to the farthest hole (See diagram above).

If this is your dog's first collar or you need a collar in a different size, measure around the dog's neck just as you would like the new collar to fit. The collar shouldn't be so tight that it will cause discomfort or loose enough to slide over the dog's head.

Other things to consider: Remember that puppies grow quickly, so it is important to check the tightness of your dog collars. Inspect and replace a collar or a leash as soon as it shows signs of wear that threatens the integrity of the collar/leash.
